About the role and key responsibilities
Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in the ethanol industry and play a key role in shaping Nedstar’s growth across Africa? We’re looking for an ambitious and proactive Commercial Manager to expand our presence, nurture customer relationships, and drive strategic opportunities in the African market.
As a Commercial Manager for Africa, you’ll be at the forefront of our trading operations, responsible for the purchase and sale of ethanol. This dynamic role involves collaborating with the team to create and refine processes, developing and executing your own budget and market strategy, and continuously seeking out new sales and growth opportunities.
About the role and key responsibilitiesYour tasks will include, but are not limited to:
- Market Development: Develop and execute market strategies to grow our footprint in Africa, identifying opportunities in new countries and product groups.
- Customer Success & Account Management: Build strong, lasting relationships with clients and suppliers, ensuring their success through exceptional after-sales care, debt recovery, and tailored support.
- Sales & Trading: Identify and engage new clients, lead negotiations, and successfully execute transactions to drive business growth.
- Processes Improvements: Work with teams to refine processes, enhance operational efficiency, and implement effective solutions for continuous improvement.
- Travel & Representation: Spend 20-30% of your time visiting customers and suppliers, strengthening partnerships and uncovering new opportunities across Africa.
